The Medical Careers Institute is glad to announce its partnership with the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC) to offer the Professional Medical Coding Curriculum (PMCC).

The Professional Medical Coding Curriculum is the definitive program of study aimed at providing the most up-to-date information relating to CPT and ICD-9-CM procedural and diagnostic coding.

The PMCC course will run 24 weeks from the start of the program.

The tuition for this course is $1995.

Health care professionals involved in the coding, administration and reimbursement aspect of medicine, may now enroll in a comprehensive course in the Lehigh Valley with the following features:

Modular format that allows flexible implementation of the course curriculum. Modules include Medical Coding and Compliance, Anatomy and Word Elements, Documentation and Coding Guidelines, ICD-9-CM, Introduction to CPT and HCPCS, Principles of E & M, Application of E & M, Surgery, Integumentary System, Musculoskeletal System, Respiratory System, Cardiovascular, Hemic and Lymphatic Systems, Digestive System, Urinary System, Reproductive Systems, Endocrine and Nervous System, Eye, Ocular Adnexa, and Ear, Anesthesia, Radiology, Pathology and Laboratory, Medicine, and CPT Category Codes.

A student workbook prepared by the AAPC that provides the most current information regarding Professional Medical Coding and Billing.

Students may sit for the AAPC Certified Professional Coder (CPC) examination, which is a nationally recognized certification accreditation,at our facility for a reduced exam charge at the end of the program .

Students may join the AAPC at a reduced price when enrolled in an approved AAPC.
